In my environment mostly have iLO2, if I update firmware via Ilo webpage, the server require reboot or only the ilo will reboot? I cant find any procedure for extracting the bin files from the scexe file without using Linux.. Thanks so much, this is a very useful resource. I was a little concerned because i have a ilo2 on a proliant dl g5 and not g6 but worked perfect with the latest version 2. I have having issues updating firmware across a high latency connection. The latest version is 1. I was going to create a library of bin files, but someone else beat me too it. All ILO usernames will be removed and the Administrator account flrmware be reset to its defaults too.
